Alhaurin de la Torre is a good base for exploring Southern Andalucia, It is quiet and tranquil yet close to the airport and coast and well situated for trips to Granada, Mijas, Ronda and Nerja and the beautiful lakes and mountains at El Chorro. The cottage is 5 minutes drive from the centre of town, where there are plenty of shops, banks, bars and restaurants.
