| The stone built cottage has been recently refurbished ,it is a simple open plan design,with double bed ,shower room and w.c,traditional rustic kitchen area , equipped with gas hob.Fridge/freezer.The cottage produces its own power from solar panels ,water is from our own well , and all waste waters are recycled through a natural filtration system and used to irrigate the grape vines.Outside you can sit in the shade of a three hundred year old fig tree sipping something cold and watching the evening sun go down over the village.The cottage has its own garden laid to grass with BBQ area,and has extensive views in all directions.The traditional village of Alforja is a ten minute walk ,with all amenities including a new olympic size swimming pool ,tennis courts,bars,restaurants.Port Aventura theme park is 15 mins . Salou/Cambrils and the beaches are 20 mins away, Tarragona with its wealth of roman buildings is 15 mins drive, the AIRPORT is 15 minutes away.Rail link to Barcelona .This is a working small farm, with organic fruit and vegetables available ,and we are currently constructing a swimming pool which we hope to have operational later this season !!!.FREE COLLECTION AND DROP OFF AT THE AIRPORT,although we would recommend hiring a car. We use carjet.co.uk who hire throgh sol-mar car hire based at the airport. | | |
